Big Design Grabs Big Attention - The fist thing that I see is the bright hot pink logo. The colour really stands out.
Less is More - Jamila and I chose a white background for a simple and clean look. We really wanted the focal point on Jasmine and her logo.
Contrast Your Colours - The contrast between Jasimine's blck t-shirt, the white background and the hot pink logo is huge. But at the same time they go well with eachother.
Be Delightfully Different - I think this leaves a lasting impression because you see two sides of Jasmine the guitar, jamming side and the piano playing,softer side of her.
Drive a Response - The reason for the poster is very clear and I think people would know that you have to vote because we put the date of when it starts.
Structure - Jasmine is the biggest image because it really is all about her. The logo is the second biggest image because that reapresents her. The information is smaller and in the bottom but still readable and important. Hopefully the images pulls the readers in and they will read the information at the bottom.
Background, Figure and Blanks - We left a lot of blank space to emphisize the images.
Print supports - We printed on white paper.
Use of typography - The font just felt right and looked appropriate for Jasmine's image.
Language - I think this poster is visually appealing and shows Jasmine's style and personality. It shows the message clearly and is very straigh forward.
